For most people, this organization is met online first. A patient checking a hospital service, a family looking at maternity care, a donor giving to the foundation, a student enrolling in a health course. Six properties carry that load, and they had grown up on a legacy platform that evolved without clear ownership. The result is a familiar pattern: slower sites, avoidable outages, bottlenecks and uncertainty about who picks up the phone when something breaks. The customer’s stated priorities were speed, reliability and confidence in the platform.
Moving to Contentstack answered the content question. It did not answer the harder one: who runs the platform underneath it. The customer’s response was to appoint specialists and keep each in their lane. Contentstack for the CMS, a digital agency to build the experiences, a governance advisor for the program, and Dataweavers to own platform operations. That model only works if one partner is genuinely accountable for uptime, security and performance across the whole ecosystem, rather than four partners each accountable for a slice.
Arc is our front-end hosting and platform operations product for headless CMS ecosystems. It brings hosting, APIs, DevOps, security and monitoring together as one supported product rather than a build assembled from scratch. For this customer, that meant six brands did not become six infrastructure projects. They became one configuration, with the guardrails already in place:
Because Arc is a product rather than a one-off build, the environments, pipelines and security controls were specified and signed off before development started. The digital agency and the customer’s content team could begin development against a known target instead of waiting on infrastructure decisions. Contentstack holds the content and the digital agency builds the experiences. Arc is the platform underneath, and Dataweavers is accountable for it.
For this customer, the value is in what this makes possible moving forward. The platform runs across two Australian regions with security controls and 24/7 monitoring that their own teams no longer have to maintain. Content teams get a publishing path that does not queue behind infrastructure work, so service changes, health information and campaign updates reach patients, families and donors when they are needed. And with Dataweavers accountable for the platform, the customer’s technology group can spend its time on the work only they can do.
